Auschwitz death camp in Poland, was one of the most notorious and biggest concentration camp made during the Holocaust. It has been estimated that 1.6 million Jews, polish, Russians, prisoners of war, gypsies, and other political prisoners were gassed, shot, starved, or worked to death at Auschwitz. These prisoners spend up to 12-14 hours a day, working under terrible condition with no food, water, or relief and having to perform strenuous tasks such as moving stone slabs, These terrible conditions and arduous tasks was the environment in which the poor Jewish population were forced to work , due to one mans hate and disdain for these people. Thousands of them died in these camps. Families were separated, people were transformed into savages with no care for life or family. This is what the Auschwitz and other death camps around Poland turned these poor Jewish people into. This website shall help you comprehend this tragedy better. We will also aid you in understanding more about the Jewish culture and it's people.
